On the day Kimbustion receive their first master copies of "Horse Heart" (an album to be released very shortly in aid of Horse Welfare Charities), one of their earlier works "Bluebird's Return" coincidentally comes back to haunt them in that the latest news is Bluebird is rebuilt and will indeed return for another run on Lake Coniston in the near future!
The album was released to commemorate the 40th year of Donnald Campbell's fatefull crash. Jon said "This is a dream come true for many people. Donald Campbell's spirit will not die and Britain is still a proud Nation who remembers it's heros".
Bluebird's Return is available for download on iTunes and very shortly "Horse Heart" will be too.

Horse Heart, "Kimbustion's new Album to raise monies for Horse Charities is near completion
Jon and Glenn are finalising the last song Still Searching.
Please see www.kimbustion.com
The album has songs connected with the Transportation of Horses for Slaughter, and also again asks as to information on the whereabouts of Shergars remains, (The Greatest Racehorse which ever lived was kidnapped in 1983 and has never been found)
Kimbustion do not care about the motives behind the kidnap, only about putting the horse to rest and ceating a memorial for this once gentle natured Racehorse which was lost to us all.
We are all in our own invisible shells, the boundry between our comfort zone and outside influences.
Sometimes the shell contract and hardens like a marble ball, other times it expands as if like a bubble.
Occasionally we take others inside..............................
Here is Kimbustion...............................................................................Welcome to our shell
This is against those who use horses as inert capital investments and not the living breathing entities they are
This is for those horses abused and thrown away
This is against those who do not apprheciate or respect the living breathing and loving animal
This is for those horses who will never breath again or feel the dew on Spring Grass
Jon says he can understand why people race and watch horses racing, after all he likes the thrill of a good gallup himself !!! but he always struggles with the casualties involved in horseracing, particularly steeplechases.
You make up you mind... where do we draw the line? I think it's all about risk assessments and minimising risk. I do know I saw 3 beautiful racehorses die in one afternoon (which is uncommon) but even an odd one here and there, sets me wondering if its worth it. There again there are historical traditions, and livelyhoods at stake.
It's a big moral minefield. ...I wouldn't race my horse, but I'd certainly gallop through a wood or accross a field with him.......mmmm this is worth some thought
Here is another string to our bow which both Glenn and myself are proud of.
Titanic (We miss you) is a classic Ballad which factually tells the story, but yet remains composed enough to impart the emotion of the tragedy too. Why do we still hold the story of Titanic so close to our hearts?
I hope this song goes partway to explainig this.
Hope you enjoy this one. We certainly enjoyed making it!

"So black the thoughts of the Darkest Horse?"
"The Darkest Horse" was the most powerful of a breed of Celtic warhorses long since forgotten.
Ridden by the greatest Warriors who ever roamed the earth, they lay sleeping beneath the hills to be awakened when all was but lost.
They could only be mastered by the few. They were the last line, the last defence, the last hope.
They were feared by all.
Their rising signified certain defeat for their enemies.
They drew their strength from the Earth, with which they were one and the same spirit.
Their breed was one of the 3 "guardians" each corresponding to Air Earth and Water
One day they will return.................that day forever draws nearer......
